How Safe Is
Mexico
Every time I tell someone I know that I love in Puerto Vallarta,
Mexico the first thing they say is, “You
gotta be kidding me, aren’t you afraid for your life?”
They have all seen the news in the United States and Canada about
the drug cartel wars and the people being killed.
The truth is Mexico is safer than ANY city in the United States or
Canada.

Puerto Vallarta is a city of just over 300,000 full time residents.
Over 10% of these residents are foreign nationals, most being from the US and
Canada. 50% of Mexican nationals are employed in the service industries because
we have so many tourist visitors annually. And they are from all over Mexico.
